Podcast: On The Rise with Sade

Hosted By: Sade – Licensed Therapist, Entrepreneur, Single Mama, and Holy Hustler

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Part-Time | 5–10 hours/week

Location: Remote

Pay: hourly or flat monthly rate (based on experience) or preference 

ABOUT THE PODCAST

On The Rise with Sade is a bold, faith-filled podcast created for Black and Brown women who are healing, hustling, grieving, parenting, building, and praying their way to purpose. Hosted by Sade, a licensed therapist and CEO, the show blends mental health, business, spirituality, culture, and raw truth. Each episode is unfiltered, empowering, and rooted in both God and grit.

Responsibilities:

The Podcast Assistant will handle the backend systems so Sade can focus on showing up and recording. Tasks include:

 

  • Light audio editing (remove long pauses, add intro/outro music)

  • Upload episodes to podcast host (Buzzsprout, Anchor, or similar)

  • Write episode titles and short descriptions

  • Create 1–2 short promo clips (IG Reels/TikTok format)

  • Manage Google Drive folders for podcast content

  • Send weekly reminders for Sade to record

  • Coordinate assets with social media manager

  • Optional: Convert quotes into branded Canva graphics

  • Optional: Assist with guest booking and communication

Heading 1

You are someone who:

  • Is organized, dependable, and good with deadlines

  • Understands podcasting or can learn quickly

  • Has basic editing skills (Audacity, Descript, etc.)

  • Can use Canva or content creation tools

  • Has ADHD-friendly communication skills (clear, direct, supportive)

  • Bonus: You’re passionate about faith, healing, mental health, or wellness

JOB DETAILS

  • Weekly episodes are 20–40 minutes

  • Part-time, remote contract

  • Flexible schedule, consistent deliverables

  • Pay is hourly or monthly, depending on your rate and package
