Job Overview:
We are seeking a PR & Media Outreach Freelancer to build brand awareness, secure media coverage, and position Rise Up Resiliency Center, LLC as an industry leader in mental health and wellness services. One of the programs offered within the practice is the Get It Right, Get It Tight program, which focuses on holistic wellness.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute PR campaigns to increase brand awareness.
- Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, and guest article submissions.
- Secure podcast interviews, TV segments, blog features, and media coverage. - Build relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets.
- Monitor and track press coverage and PR campaign success.
Requirements:
- Experience in PR, media relations, and brand storytelling.
- Proven track record of securing media placements.
- Strong writing skills for press releases and media pitches.
- Excellent communication and networking abilities.
- Knowledge of media databases and PR tools (Cision, HARO, or Muck Rack).
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required, but a Plus!):
- Experience in mental health, wellness, or personal development industries.
- Connections with Black and Hispanic media outlets and influencers.
